Ash Duban and Sammi Runnels join forces and become team mates. Ash Duban is the RHC 2016 Series Champion and the winner of Red Hook Criterium Barcelona No.5. Sammi Runnels is one of the better US CX riders and for several years she represented the Aventon Factory team in the Red Hook Crits always being a very solid top-10 rider. Like the team of Colin Strickland, The Meteor Cafe is also the team sponsor next to Allied Cycle Works. The team name is unknown at the moment but what is for sure is that besides the strong female block from Aventon Factory team, and Specialized/Rocket-Espresso there will be a third strong block in the women’s fixed gear crit peloton!
