Red Hook Criterium Milano No.8 is in the books. In the next weeks we will look back on it through the lens of some amazing photographers. They will show us a recap of the race, or maybe just a small part of it. The photographers have total artistic discretion and show us the race through their eyes. This time it is Chris Leustean who shows us the ‘pain faces’ of Red Hook Criterium Milano No.8

“This was to be my 8th time shooting at a Red Hook Crit and my 3rd time in Milano. It’s a special race for me as I loved the grit and rawness of the track. The fast course and the graffiti clad backdrop make for great photography. This time around I came with a different approach. I wanted to not just capture the race but to capture what is the essence of the Red Hook Crit. The racers, the fans and the people behind the scenes making it tick. I wanted to document the day and tell a story of what unfolds and what goes on at one of these special events.”
