Approximately 30 riders started this race, some of the best being local, like Cinelli Chrome, Bike Channel, Desgena’, Urbe SQ. and IRD Carrera SQ. just to mention a few. With a perfect collaboration, 5 athletes took down the gap near the Diga from Mignano.

The main attack of the race came from Michael Capati from Urbe, a former climber, which resulted in a long solo. However, he couldn’t stay away from a small chasing group consisting out of  Mariani from IRD, Sacchetti from Desgena’, Mastronardo from Bike Channel, Martucci from Supernova and finally Tortellotti from VVF who’s also the strongest U23 in that area. Capati attacks again but the other 5 riders weren’t surprised by this and jump on his wheel.

Tortelotti attacked in the last K of the race with Mariani jumping on his wheel and out sprinting him on the finish line. The podium was complemented by Capati.
