Fixed Gear Crit

Why these 3 female riders can win their first Red Hook Crit in RHC Milano 8

The goal for the bunch of fixed gear riders in a Red Hook Crit is to be in the final. For a smaller part the goal is to finish that final in the lead lap, and for a very selective group the (realistic) goal is to win that final. We selected 3 riders, which all have the capabilities to make RHC Milano 8 their first Red Hook Crit win.

3. Jasmine Dotti
Jasmine got 3rd in Red Hook Criterium London this year and every RHC she is on the shortlist to win it. However, in Barcelona she didn’t get near a result expected of her but in her homecountry Italy she will be highly motivated to end the season well.

2. Tanja Erath
The former triathlete is one of the most powerful fixed gear crit riders in the peloton, but so far she hasn’t been able to get that Red Hook Criterium win. In RHC M8 she will find a course that probably suits her the best of the whole RHC series.

1. Eleonore Saraiva
Eleonore goes into RHC Milano 8 as the overall leader and to secure the series win is likely to be her main goal, but what would be a better way to do so via her first Red Hook Crit victory?
