The Waterkant Krit, traditionally one of the bigger fixed gear crits in Europe, will be held for the fourth time. This year, the date for the crit is June 9 in Hamburg, Germany. Registrations are opened on April 7. The track will be similar to last year’s one, a 1k circuit with wide corners and 1 tight hairpin just 50 meters before the finish. For this edition, there will be a Men’s A and B crit and a Women’s race. The race will also count in the new German race series the ‘German Fixed Crit Series’. In the last two years, the crit was sold out in 12 hours. Besides the race, on Friday there will be an event on the velodrome and a pasta party to carb load for the crit. More info can be found on their website or FB event.
