Dosnoventa will be present in the fixed gear crit peloton this season as part of Team Endless.Dosnoventa. They will supply the team with the carbon fibre fixed gear crit bike ‘Tokyo’. The team will consist out of two riders, fixed gear crit veteran Enol Costales Cortina, and Miguel Induráin Jr. We briefly talked with team manager Elena Bris, who is on the project on behalf of Endless, about the team and its goals for 2018.
“It is still a small project that makes us really proud. We are here for our riders, two of the most exhilarating cyclists in the scene needed a team and we didn´t hesitate on having their backs. Soon, Dosnoventa heard about the project and threw themselves fully into the team.”
Enol Costales Cortina will race in Brooklyn for the 5th time while Miguel Induráin Jr. will make his Brooklyn debut as mid-way 2017 he started to compete for the first time in fixed gear crits.
Elena on Enol Costales Cortina
“Enol is a well-known name in the scene. Former Santa Catalina rider, this is his 5th time in Brooklyn. He knows well the RHC Barcelona, London or Milano circuits. Not to mention Criterium Gijón, his hometown, where he has dominated throughout the years. This season he comes stronger and feels confident and determined. He has started his road racing season with excellent results and great sensations. We do believe this will be his year.”
Elena on Miguel Induráin
“What to say about the second name? Cycling runs through the veins of Miguel Induráin. He is competitive and hungry, his time racing for Caja Rural-Seguros RGA proved that. His debut in fixed gear racing was last RHC Barcelona, and trying his power later in Milano was enough to ignite his passion for this format. We cannot wait to see how much this diamond will shine.”
We have the legs and we have the weapons. Our guys will be racing the brutal carbon Dosnoventa Tokyo, together with the invaluable help of our sponsors: Oakley, Hed, Rotor and Bont.
The team aims at competing in the RHC 2018 Series, Rad Race Fixed42 , Lugones or Valencia, and as many NL Crit dates as we can fit in our calendar.
