Red Hook Criterium Barcelona No.5 will have a total new course. As the venue of RHC Barcelona, Parc Del Forum, is an open space paved with concrete, the RHC organisation has full freedom to come up with challenging courses. This year race director David Trimble was very serious about giving last year’s course a total make-over. “It is going to be a busy fast circuit on which good turning skills are needed. Turns 1, 2 are pretty tight and of course turn 8, the hairpin will be a tough one. Whoever is leading the race after the hairpin in the last lap is probably going to win.”
The course is 1000m long and has 8 turns of which 6 right and 2 left including 2 hairpins.
