Gretchen Stumhofer, the strong American fixed gear crit rider who got 3rd in RHC Milano No.7 and representing Aventon Factory Team is missing on the starters list of RHC BK 10. She will probably be out for the whole season as Gretchen is putting her cycling career on hold to focus on her studies. She is currently a student at the University of California San Diego School of Medicine and has 2 years left to become a medical doctor.
“I just need to finish up med school at the moment and there’s not free time during some of the years of medical training (…) there’s certainly no finality to my current state of leave.”
